The picture is from our trip to see the cows at our raw milk farm, S now understands milk doesn’t come from the supermarket fridge but from a cow. Every time i take milk out of the fridge he reminds me that the cow gave it to us 🙂
Yes raw milk, it is a cause of great debate but i believe in the benefits. We recently moved to Dorset and we were happy to discover a certified organic raw milk farm near our home.
Allah tells us in the Quran :
And indeed, for you in grazing livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from what is in their bellies – between excretion and blood – pure milk, palatable to drinkers. An – Nahl (The bee) 16:66
Do they not see that We have created for them from what Our hands have made, grazing livestock, and [then] they are their owners? And We have tamed them for them, so some of them they ride, and some of them they eat. And for them therein are [other] benefits and drinks, so will they not be grateful? Ya-Sin 36:71-73
And indeed, for you in livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from that which is in their bellies, and for you in them are numerous benefits, and from them you eat. Al-Mu’minun 23:21
There is also loads of information available all over the internet by numerous researchers about the benefits of drinking raw milk, here is one of the links i found – http://www.raw-milk-facts.com/raw_milk_health_benefits.html.
